End of the ride for Chuchu
Finally! Got some time to post a conclusion!
It was a ride, oh boy it was that's for sure.
On my first logs I already said so, that you can't predict what would happen, even if it was just a 6 hours jam. I can still totally blame myself for completly changing what game I was developing mid jam, and I do regret it, but not for what you may except.
I hated that because I couldn't participate in the event as much as I did when I had more time. You know, talking to people, helping, giving feedback, that sort of thing. Even if I took in account my own limitations, I couldn't predict how much it would affect how I could still partake in the event. So that's something I learnt.
Of course I won't state the obvious, that my game is even less finished than it would have been if I kept on going with my first concept. But honestly, with all that I learnt, I don't think it's such a bad thing. Yeah, it's a 5 minutes game at best now, where I could have given a borier but more finished product, but at least I'm proudier of the result.
May have more things to say but I forgot, oh well! I already put a lot, LOT more logs that I would have except.
Now that I have more time, let's check out those games!
