Start of day 8 (and conclusion of day 7)


Almost 24 hours left...

And no, I haven't forgotten to post my daily ending devlog yesterday, it just that things happened and I had to cut short my day of work. Good news is, I did made some progress! Look at that:


Everything that I wrote down yesterday on my plan of action is done! All I need to do is, well, what I excepted to do next. Which means: callbacks when boxes fall, the heat system, maybe bonuses and spicing things up.

It wasn't that easy to get there tho. Switching from Love2D to Godot, I must say, it's night and day in a lot of department. The good part: the boost in productivity really is here, a lot of things can be done quick. The worst part: the documentation. Both engines have a really great community, but when it comes to documentation, I don't know what happened to Godot's but it's a mess. Maybe there's something going on with the future release of Godot 4 or something like, I don't know and I'm not really looking into learning what's happening, I just so happen to use the engine and it just so happen that the documentation is a big let down compared to Love2D's.

That won't prevent me from finishing that thing! Let's get to it!
