End of day 8
I'm really, really slower than I thought. Well, that's to be excepted. For my first prototype, I wasn't really that speedy either. Doing a total switch of engine, design, assets and all at the last minute, I knew what to except: that maybe I wouldn't finish it in time. And, the more time passes, the more it looks like it will be the case! Nothing new, and I'm not surprised.
At least, I had some coding done. Now, I receive some signals when boxes are thrown in the pits, if that's the right colored box or not, now all I need is to indicate it somehow with some UI signs. Started doing some UI but not sure about the font, put my progress bar. What I really wanted to do was some kind of animated character saying the status of the grappling thing, since I made so that when you take a box, you need to wait until the grappling gets back to its original height before moving again, and I needed something to indicate that aaand I think I have some inspiration for a cute anime girl sprite, maybe. But, since time is against me, I got some other idea, maybe some kind of console thingy.
It lacks a lot, and I won't have time to finish a lot. It is how it is! Tomorrow, the final countdown! See you then!
